Klaus H.
8 January 2024*Works well, easy to install
“I bought the electric belt winder as a replacement for a manually operated shutter. The window is 1.80 m high and 3 m wide, unfortunately, all the products I found have a belt capacity well above 1.80 m, which means more volume is needed in the wall. Unfortunately, I didn't find a compact solution from any manufacturer, so I bought this product for the price.
There are products with stronger motors that I would have preferred for the large shutter area, but they are even larger. As a compromise, I programmed the belt winder so that the bottom end is halfway up the window, reducing the weight when lifting.
Installation: Remove the old belt roll, cut the belt, then I had to work a bit on the wall to fit it (which I knew about due to the dimensions when ordering), then insert the belt, fix the belt winder to the wall with 2 screws, done! The manual explains everything well.
Programming: Once according to the instructions, program the top and bottom endpoints, done. There are other functions, but I don't use them.
Experience after 2 months: Works without issues, audible but not too loud, reliably stops at the programmed endpoints, and the programming is retained even if the device is unplugged from the socket for several days.”
